As a parent of a child at KCSMA, you know that we are a public charter school. One of the differences between a traditional public school and a public charter school is that we rely on the help of parents to ensure that we may provide the best education to our students.
We are in dire need of parents, guardians, grandparents, community members, etc. to volunteer time in the school. We have many opportunities to volunteer, and the more volunteers we have, the more opportunities we can provide to our children at KCSMA. Here is a list of examples of volunteer opportunities:
- Chartertown supervisors in the morning before school
- Classroom help with STEM projects
- Classroom general help
- Grounds clean ups
- PTO events
- School events
- Media center
- Lunchroom monitors
- Room parents
- Box Tops classroom coordinators
- Many more….
Please consider volunteering for one of the above or see below for specific, current volunteer needs. Let’s show our children our dedication to their education!
